Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 4
Serving Size: 1-2 thighs per person
Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken thighs: 8 pieces
- Fresh lemon juice: 60ml (from 2 lemons)
- Lemon zest: from 1 lemon
- Garlic cloves (minced): 6
- Olive oil: 50ml
- Fresh parsley (chopped): 20 grams
- Salt: 5 grams
- Freshly ground black pepper: 5 grams
Method of Preparation
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs in the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor infusion.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs.
- Cook each side for 6-7 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken thighs to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Optional: Drizzle with extra lemon juice or serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Tips
- Marinating overnight will intensify the flavors.
- For an added layer of flavor, introduce some chili flakes or rosemary to the marinade.
